Privacy Policy:

It is the Metallurgical Testing Labs (Pty) Ltd (MTL) policy to keep all information private and confidential and MTL will spare no cost in achieving and maintaining this policy.

“TRUST IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL THING IN THE WORLD”, and MTL will maintain this motto at all times.

MTL will strive to anticipate the needs of the client and, through contract review, try and inform the customer to ensure that they are getting information which is relevant to the task which they have at hand.

Quality

Quality Policy Statement:

The Managing Director and staff of MTL are unconditionally committed to the development, implementation, maintenance and continual improvement of an effective and professional laboratory management system, which complies with the requirements of SANAS 17025:2005 and ISO 9001:2000.

We unequivocally recognize the vital role which laboratory management systems represent in supporting our business objectives, and in demonstrating the competency, quality and standard of service of our testing laboratory.

The Managing Director/Laboratory Manager will ensure that the details of the laboratory management system, as well as customer and statutory and regulatory requirements, relevant to purpose, scope, applicability, responsibility and authority are communicated, understood, implemented and maintained by all members of our staff.

Our quality policy and documented laboratory management system is directed at achieving the following objectives:

  1. Providing agreed levels of quality, integrity and service by fully understanding our customer’s needs and requirements, and by maintaining the capability of attaining them
  2. To continually strive to improve our laboratory practices and the standard of service deliverables supplied by MTL
  3. Recognition as a reliable, competent and professional testing laboratory by our customers, peers, third party inspectorates and certification / accreditation authorities
  4. Ensuring that our operating costs are minimized through the planned systematic management of all of our activities
  5. Introducing and maintaining relevant training for all of our staff, for the benefit of all stakeholders
  6. To stay informed on regulatory and statutory requirements applicable to our business and employees
